INVERT BLOCK (I.B.) DRAIN
An invert block (I.B.) drain is a type of drainage system that is designed to manage the flow of runoff water in larger quantities, such as stormwater. The dimensions for an I.B. drain (S) are typically 600mm in length, 450mm in width, and 250mm in height. These blocks are designed to be placed at the bottom of a drainage channel or trench to create a slope that allows water to flow in the desired direction. They are often used in conjunction with other drainage materials, such as gravel or sand, to create an effective drainage system.
